Exclusive Access to the Archaeological Park of Syracuse
Dig deep into the remains of the ancient Temple of Zeus, one of the most significant Greek monuments of Magna Graecia, located in the Archaeological Park near our study center. Our students have the unique opportunity to participate in hands-on research, uncovering ancient artifacts where this magnificent structure once stood. Accompanied by famous archaeologists and researchers in Italian Universities, our students go beyond the classroom, they learn at the field classes, a hands-on approach prioritized here at our Academy.
During our field classes, students are provided with all the necessary excavation tools: from pickaxes and shovels to carts and gloves. We also equip them with more specialized instruments like chisels and augers, ensuring they’re well-prepared for any excavation challenge. This year, our diligent students unearthed fascinating finds, including pottery shards, vases, and even an undated coin, adding to the rich discoveries at the site.
